Full Job Description
Responsibilities

  • Develops metrics to monitor areas of responsibility and gaps and implement action plans for remediation.
  • Drives large-scale process improvements focused on energy and supply chains resulting in measurable value.
  • Manages transportation and related logistics of goods and services to/from internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with business units and suppliers and conducts simple negotiations successfully, leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pickup and delivery of goods.
  • Ensures that the company's procurement policies and procedures are compliant with external laws/regulations.
  • Creates and oversees purchase agreements, which involves negotiating acceptable commercial terms and ensuring legal terms are approved by the company's legal counsel.
  • Leads raw material price negotiation process to ensure that commodity pricing meets expectations, supplier quality standards, and ongoing cost reduction efforts.
  • Analyzes company data and market trends in the industry to develop and implement long-term procurement strategies for cost-savings and efficiency.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
  • Experience in supply chain, inventory performance management and/or materials procurement.
  • Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
  • Experience with S2P / P2P platforms, SAP ECC, Ariba, or enterprise analytics tools.
  • Experience using AIenabled decision support systems or business intelligence, analytics, data management, or performance reporting in a regulated, shared services, procurement, or operations environment.
  • Experience managing predictive models, automated decisioning, or advanced analytics with appropriate controls and risk management.
  • Experience leading crossfunctional initiatives and influencing senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data governance, internal controls, information governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) Certification, Project Management Certification.
  • Experience integrating strategies with technology solutions such as Ariba, SAP, and related platforms, with the ability to manage change between the business, and technical resources (Internal IT or External SAP Engineering).
  • Demonstrated experience developing SharePoint Solutions leveraging PowerApps, PowerAutomate, and PowerBI
  • Experience implementing and enhancing procurement tools, strategies, and continuous improvement opportunities/methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, Six-sigma).
  • Data Analytics (Data Science), Agile and Scrum Master


Additional Information

  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
