Job DescriptionBAE Systems, Adaptive Communications & Sensing AC&S, is actively seeking an experienced Supply Chain Professional to join the Indirect Procurement Organization. As a Senior Procurement Analyst, you will procure specialized materials, equipment, supplies and services based on program specific requirements and specifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Senior Procurement Analyst will be responsible for the complete acquisition lifecycle: able to analyze purchase requisitions, initiate RFQs/RFPs, review bids, select vendors, negotiate terms and conditions, and pricing of materials or services to be procured and issue/manage subsequent purchase orders.
Additional responsibilities includes:
- Develop, support and execute sourcing strategies, to include development of savings
- Develop new and manage existing supplier relationships
- Lead formal negotiations
- Execute Long Term Agreements/Blanket Agreement
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoices/payment issues to ensure prompt payment and avoid delays
- Coordinate with Receiving departments to resolve receipt issues
- Maintain communication with suppliers during course of procurement process
- Work closely with management and Procurement personnel, as well as cross-functionally with other departments
- Ability to prepare reports and documentation
- Ability to perform effectively and independently
