Job SummaryThe Procurement Agent manages procurement and community setup, combining sourcing and operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective execution. This role includes managing supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives and community-specific procurement needs. The Procurement Agent aligns procurement strategies with construction and operational goals while maintaining compliance, process accuracy, and budget efficiencies.
This position
requires onsite attendance 5 days per week at our Division Office located in
Bridgewater Township, NJ.
Primary Job Responsibilities- Manage procurement processes for assigned categories, including sourcing strategy, contract execution, and supplier performance, to ensure alignment with cost, quality, and service goals.
- Oversee community setup strategy, including category data entry, pricing validation, and procurement policy and procedures required for new communities.
- Strategize with internal leadership, including construction, sales, and design, to ensure procurement and community-specific needs are met.
- Lead category management strategies such as cost analysis, negotiation preparation, and implementation of contracts for communities.
- Facilitate trade partner strategy and communication, to align with cost efficiencies, performance goals and legal requirements.
- Provide input into and analysis of procurement and community-specific reports to provide actionable insights and ensure operational accuracy.
- Manage supplier and trade partner relationships to address compliance, risk management, and ongoing performance improvements.
- Monitor and improve procurement processes, and support initiatives for cost containment, value engineering, and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and evaluate trade partner performance and inform hiring and termination decisions.
- Contribute to cross-functional team efforts to resolve procurement and community challenges and drive continuous improvement.

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Required Skills- Proficiency in procurement and community setup systems, logic, and tools, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of category management, supplier relationships, and construction industry practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and trade partners.
- Analytical mindset to support cost analysis, reporting, and decision-making in procurement and community setup.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, ensuring effective coordination of procurement and community-specific requirements.

Pay Information$87,000 - $100,000 Annually
Hired applicant will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.
