Job Description

This position is responsible for driving improvements and providing operational support focused on safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost performance within the non-residential product portfolio.

The Process Technician will focus on optimizing product flow through effective management of product kitting, material readiness, work-in-process (WIP), and rework processes. This role will support the development and implementation of sustainable systems for work cell management, visual controls, standard work, and operational discipline.

Additionally, this position will support customer responsiveness by partnering directly with the Commercial team to evaluate and respond to order requests, assess production requirements, and align commitments with operational capabilities. This role will collaborate closely with Make Planners to establish realistic production schedules, support timeline management, and ensure effective communication of priorities and constraints.

Shift and Pay
  • 1st shift (5 AM - 3 PM) Monday thru Thursday with OT on Friday
  • $33 - $45 per hour


Primary Responsibilities

  • Support daily execution of non-residential production requirements by ensuring efficient product flow and alignment to customer demand.


  • Own and improve product kitting processes to ensure materials, components, and documentation are available when required for production.


  • Partner with Supply Chain and Production teams to identify material shortages, risks, and opportunities to improve availability.


  • Establish sustainable processes to improve material accuracy, reduce disruptions, and support efficient cell operations.


  • Interface with the Commercial team to review customer order requests, understand requirements, and provide feedback on production feasibility and timing.


  • Partner with Production Planning to support schedule development, sequencing, capacity alignment, and timeline communication.


  • Support the development and execution of rework management processes, including identification, prioritization, tracking, and disposition of rework inventory.


  • Improve visibility and control of rework processes to reduce waste, improve flow, and protect customer delivery.


Required Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and identify opportunities for improvement.


  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.


  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with Production, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.


  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly share information, escalate concerns, and support cross-functional alignment.


  • Experience using manufacturing systems, ERP systems, production scheduling tools, or data reporting applications.
