The ideal candidate is an experienced piping designer who can interpret P&IDs and construction specifications, route piping systems in a shared model environment, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and support project delivery under the direction of the design lead and/or engineer of record.
Your Key Responsibilities- Create 3D models of piping and process systems using Revit as the primary platform and AutoCAD Plant 3D as a secondary platform.
- Design and document piping systems, including compressed air, cooling water, process waste, industrial water, gas and chemical piping systems, and process exhaust.
- Review and interpret system P&IDs and construction specifications to route piping and lay out equipment according to project requirements.
- Coordinate piping routing, equipment layout, and system space needs with other disciplines in a shared model environment.
- Create 2D plan drawings, sections, schedules, and detail sheets using Revit and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
