As a Process Lead within the Cascades Tissue Group, you will play a key role in driving process reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence on the production floor. This role offers a progressive development path and hands-on experience with Lean methodology, equipment optimization, and problem-solving tools.

Your Role

As Process Lead L2, you'll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. Your scope includes:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, reliability, and cost optimization.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and other CI methodologies to improve operational performance.
  • Establish process metrics and monitor performance trends to drive data-based decision making.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts related to process variation, product quality concerns, and production inefficiencies.
  • Support new product introductions by developing manufacturing standards, operating procedures, process parameters, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with commercial, technical, quality, and production teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process standards across the mill.
  • Ensure operational procedures are documented, controlled, and consistently followed.
  • Partner with operations teams to identify gaps in standards and implement best practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of process adherence and standard work effectiveness.


What You Bring

You're a natural fit for Process Lead L2 if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field. Equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of production processes and operational excellence principles.
