Salary Range: $108,000.00 to $137,000.00

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range

The Role

Defines, designs and implements continuous improvement programs to ensure programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across organization. Defines improvement projects aligned with business strategies. Analyzes improvement programs and potential results. Facilitates and coaches improvement teams. Establishes and maintains performance metrics to measure program success. Installs process excellence supports for program governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards. May have six-sigma certification.

This position is intended for the Technology Integration group in Department E92, supporting the CTO. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and managing department initiatives.

The selected candidate will support the MX training trailer that showcases our new deck plate technology, ensuring high quality video content and seamless integration into shipyard training curricula. The role will also lead a division rebrand-developing logos, refreshing the internal/external website, crafting communication plans, and managing the rollout schedule. Additionally, the candidate will design and launch a structured engineering rotation program, coordinating with department heads to deliver hands on learning experiences that accelerate skill development and talent retention. Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 8 year of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
