- Provide input into and support for opportunity development.
- Increase reliability and profitability of existing product lines through identification of and leading process improvement projects.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Meets with customers and internal staff to understand and document product requirements, features, benefits, and performance characteristics.
- Plans, coordinates, and documents trials to meet requirements.
- Works with suppliers to identify and specify appropriate materials.
- Develops manufacturing methods and coordinates the design of new process equipment.
- Creates product specifications, quality plans, test methods, work instructions, risk assessments, and other documentation.
- Ensures the smooth release of new products to manufacturing once development is complete.
- Optimizes and improves processes and systems once products have been released to manufacturing.
- Develops cost models and budgets for trials, commercial production, and capital expenditures.
- Manages complex projects with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, stay organized, meet cost, and time budgets, and drive to completion.
- Prepares reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
Performs any other function or responsibility as assigned
Additional REQUIRED Qualifications/Skills:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar technical degree.
- Training and/or job related experience in project management.
- 5 years minimum web converting manufacturer.
- 10 years minimum web converting manufacturer in a technical role.
