Job SummaryWe are seeking a Process Engineer - Water/Wastewater, to join TYLin's Water Sector. In this role, you'll design a variety of municipal servicing projects, both public and private, while growing your skills in client interfacing and project management.
Responsibilities & QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Undertake the design of both public and private sector municipal servicing projects (i.e. sewage pumping stations and water booster stations, elevated tanks, reservoirs, and water/wastewater treatment systems) including engineering drawings, engineering reports, presentations, and required applications to regulatory and/or funding agencies.
- Coordinate the design with review/input from the various municipal/utility/approval agencies/stakeholders and obtain all necessary approvals.
- Liaise with clients, municipalities, and other agencies to secure approvals.
- Assist developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.
- Prepare contract documents for construction (i.e. engineering drawings and specifications).
- May conduct construction inspection services and construction administration.
- May provide services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
- Participate in constructability review.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on projects.
- Mentor recently hired junior team members on the various facets of municipal infrastructure design.
- Prepare portions of engineering project proposals, change orders, client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
- Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with minimum supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering.
- P.Eng. licensure with P.E.O.
- 5-7 years of experience in the execution of wastewater infrastructure (sewer pumping stations, booster pumping stations, reservoir and elevated tanks and water and wastewater treatment plants) projects.
- Experience with Master Planning, Class EAs and DWWP and/or ECA process in Ontario considered or equivalent in other Provinces is considered an asset.
- Contract administration experience is considered an asset.

Additional InformationTYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $87,000-$108,000 for this position and local market.
