Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
• Experience in design and construction methods and corresponding costs
• Understanding of CAD/CAM use and application of foundry processes
• Ability to direct a cost control program (i.e. scrap analysis, process capability)
• Strong communication skills for customer and supplier relations

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety rules, regulations, and policies across the company
• Lead internal and external ISO audits to maintain quality standards
• Address quality issues, warranty claims, and corrective action responses
• Manage and oversee controlled documentation processes
• Coordinate new equipment installations and modifications as necessary
• Prepare part prints for fabrication and obtain vendor bids
• Analyze data to enhance process quality and maintain control
