Process Engineer

The Job:
As a Process Engineer, you’ll be part of our Mission team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:
- Develop, establish and optimize injection molding procedures and processes to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend tool construction designs and engineering changes to enhance manufacturability and performance.
- Utilize root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve manufacturing process issues.
- Lead new product introductions, including process development, validation, and support for CAPEX investments.
- Oversee the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing machinery, ensuring seamless integration into production.
- Design and implement new equipment, gauging systems, processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement projects and kaizen events to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
- Champion the implementation and maintenance of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) procedures, SOPs, layout changes and control plans.
- Serve as a liaison between operators, suppliers, customers, and research & development teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Maintain comprehensive process documentation and provide technical training and support to production staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support business needs.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, or related field) required.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Injection Molding Process Engineering.
- Proven experience with single-shot, two-shot and three-shot injection molding processes.
- Experience with Insert molding, hot stamping, pad printing, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) design and applications
- Demonstrated experience with automation systems including robots, vision systems and automated packaging.
- Strong background in Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, Toyota Production Systems (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015 or equivalent.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).

The Salary range for this position is $63,800.00 - $102,700.00
This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
