This position will be based in Peachtree Corners, GA but will support multiple manufacturing sites.
This Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that operational technology (OT) assets are protected, managed, and governed in accordance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role combines quality management discipline, process assurance, and OT cybersecurity principles to ensure repeatable, auditable, and resilient operational practices.
Core responsibilities include:
OT Asset Protection & Governance- Create and maintain documentation and processes governing OT asset identification, classification, ownership, and lifecycle management
- Verify that OT assets are managed in alignment with applicable standards
- Support OT risk assessments by validating that controls, documentation, and mitigations are implemented as designed
- Lead audits and reviews related to OT security posture, asset inventories, and system integrity
- Translate quality and compliance requirements into practical, usable processes for technical and non-technical stakeholders which causes minimal administrative burden on the team
- Ensure internal testing procedures mitigates any major risk
Process Adherence & Quality Assurance- Define, document, and enforce standard operating procedures related to OT systems and supporting processes
- Monitor adherence to internal quality, security, and operational processes; identify gaps and deviations
- Lead or support nonconformance management, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Ensure process changes follow defined change management and approval workflows
Continuous Improvement- Analyze trends in audit findings, incidents, and process deviations to identify systemic issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing risk, increasing consistency, and improving operational maturity
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with:
- OT and automation teams
- Manufacturing and Engineering teams
- IT / OT cybersecurity functions
- Program and project management
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Systems, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of engineering experience working in or supporting OT, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of or exposure to ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, or similar cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience with asset management, change management, or configuration management processes
- Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders in a manufacturing environment
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior involvement in internal quality, process auditing, compliance measurement, or third party audits
- Agile / scrum experience
- Professional certifications such as:
- ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor
- ISA/IEC 62443 training or certification
- Six Sigma / Lean (Green Belt or equivalent)

The pay range for this position is $75,684 - $129,744 annually. Actual offer may be lower or higher depending on selected professional.
