BASIC FUNCTION

The Manager, Project & Technical Services (PTS) leads the site's CAPEX and technical engineering organization, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient execution of capital projects and technical solutions. This role integrates project delivery with process engineering excellence to resolve complex plant issues, drive long-term asset performance, and ensure sustainable improvements aligned with business priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Accountabilities
• Own and manage the CAPEX portfolio from concept through FEL, execution, and close-out, ensuring alignment with site priorities
• Provide governance and technical oversight for all projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and MOC requirements
• Lead advanced technical problem-solving, including high-severity events and cross-functional RCA
• Ensure integration of process engineering inputs into project development and execution
• Drive improvements in safety, reliability, quality, and cost through targeted technical initiatives
• Ensure robust process risk management and technical integrity across all changes and projects
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team (project engineers, process engineers, design, project managers)
• Optimize resource allocation to balance short-term plant support and long-term improvements
• Partner with OPEX to ensure improvement initiatives are technically sound and sustainable
• Support innovation, digital tools, and advanced analytics in engineering and project execution

Operations, Maintenance, OPEX, HSSE, Supply Chain, Finance, external contractors and licensors
