We are looking for a Process Engineer Some of your main duties & responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze process parameters to identify opportunities for improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Support daily operations by troubleshooting process upsets and equipment issues.
- Develop and implement operating procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
- Lead and support capital and improvement projects, from concept through commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, HSE, QA/QC, and Production) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide technical support for new product introductions and process scale-ups.
- Partner with Oleon's global process engineering, operations, and R&D teams to share knowledge, align on technical standards, and leverage best practices.
- Participate in global working groups and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability across Oleon sites.
- Participate in hazard reviews (PHA/HAZOP), MOC (Management of Change), and root cause investigations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance process safety management (PSM) and environmental performance.
You'll succeed if:You have
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering disciplinerequired.
- 3-7 years of experience in chemical process engineering, preferably in esterification, batch/continuous operations, or specialty chemicals.
- Experience in PSM-covered processes strongly preferred.
- Exposure to capital project execution and process control systems (DCS/PLC).
- Experience working with global or multi-site teams a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
- Knowledge of reaction engineering, heat transfer, and separation processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
