Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials, or related discipline).
• 5-8 years of manufacturing engineering or process engineering experience in a production environment.
• Proven project management experience leading process improvement, capital, automation, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Strong manufacturing background with hands-on experience optimizing production processes, equipment, and workflows.
• Highly data-driven with demonstrated experience using KPIs, SPC, DOE, process capability studies, and analytical problem-solving tools.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PFMEA, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects from concept to implementation, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Optimize PTFE compounding, extrusion, and related manufacturing processes for improved productivity and quality.
• Analyze manufacturing data to drive process stability and reduce waste while improving equipment effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot production challenges, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute process improvement initiatives.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation solutions for better manufacturing performance.
