Job Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer which is an mid- level management role to support the Packaging Operation.

We are seeking individuals with the following qualities:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and analytical skills
  • A desire to work in a fast paced, hands-on manufacturing environment with technicians and equipment.


Responsibilities

Manufacturing Process Engineers lead our efforts in identify and drive out loses through standard and system development. They support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas, and build long term capability into their areas, systems, and technicians. Daily Responsibilities can consist of the following:
  • Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies
  • Effectively developing procedures and technical documents for existing and new equipment
  • Collaborating with technical experts, other functions, and other manufacturing sites to create best solutions
  • Creating learning programs to coach and train technicians
  • Creating and improving standards (Process Control Strategies and Centerline Packages) to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the site
  • Understanding and working with state-of-the-art robotics and automated equipment
  • High presence on the manufacturing floor


Qualifications

You may fit well into this role if you have:
  • A BS in Engineering Discipline or Engineering Technology equivalent experience (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
  • 4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or R&D environment (consumer products a plus)
  • Ability to have a flexible work schedule when needed to accommodate our 24-hour operations
  • Good communication skills -written and oral
  • Strong leadership capabilities that will allow you to coach others on the use of Operational Excellence
  • Systems & Tools experience in data analytics and reporting a plus
