Education Requirements

Required Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Associate's degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience will be considered
  • Master's degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience will be considered

  • Internship experience does not qualify toward the required professional experience


Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, data analysis, and complex formulas

Position Summary

The Process Control Engineer supports supply chain execution by partnering with suppliers, buyers, and manufacturing facilities to prioritize critical material shipments and maintain uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Control Tower activities in coordination with LPAs, suppliers, buyers, and multiple production and service facilities to prioritize shipments based on operational demand
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based tracking and reporting tools to monitor facility demand, shipment status, and supply chain risks by location and timeframe
  • Analyze production methods, cycle times, throughput, and operational performance to improve shipment planning and execution processes
  • Interpret supply and demand data to create shipment plans and recommendations in collaboration with management teams
  • Review logs, process documentation, specifications, and operational reports to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards
  • Support production planning activities by aligning material availability with manufacturing schedules and mitigating potential delays
  • Create charts, dashboards, graphs, and reports to visualize workflow performance, material coverage, and plan adherence
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and system-generated reports to support operational decision-making
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance supply chain efficiency and operational effectiveness
