Full Job Description
The Repair Process & Quality Supervisor is responsible for developing, drafting, and maintaining standardized repair procedures, ensuring they are accessible through the company's knowledge database. This role also oversees quality assurance by inspecting repair work to ensure compliance with established standards and best practices. The position plays a critical role in improving efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction across all repair operations.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties:
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed repair procedures for all relevant equipment and systems on Mobile and Crawler Cranes.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with OEM specifications and Industry standards.
  • Publish and manage repair procedures in the company's knowledge management system.
  • Update Projects in Project Management Software in liaison with the Repair Shop Supervisor
  • Conduct inspections of completed repair work to verify compliance with documented procedures and quality standards
  • Participates in Project Retrospectives
  • Identify deviations and implement corrective actions together with Repair Shop Supervisors and Lead Technicians to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and monitor quality metrics for repair operations
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date knowledge database for repair processes.
  • Train technicians and staff on new or updated procedures.
  • Identifies training opportunities based upon errors detected in the systems.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for repair standards and quality requirements.
  • Analyze repair processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organization's policies and processes.
  • Recommend improvements to reduce errors, increase productivity, and enhance safety.
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to incorporate feedback into procedures.


Supervisory Duties:
  • Carries out supervisory duties.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Repair Process and Quality team.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Competencies

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or engineering discipline or equivalent; and a minimum of five years of experience in a similar position and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements:
  • Travel domestically and internationally a minimum of up to 30% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
