Full Job Description
Chemours is seeking a Privacy, AI & Compliance Program Manager to join our growing team. This position will be available at the Wilmington Office Bldgs location in Wilmington, DE.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Program Leadership & Governance
    • Working closely with internal and external subject-matter experts, continue to design, implement, and mature Chemours' global Privacy and AI Governance programs, including responsible AI use, regulatory compliance, and integration with Ethics & Compliance and ERM frameworks, and Trade Compliance frameworks.
    • Help SME's translate evolving regulatory requirements, enforcement trends, and industry best practices into practical, scalable policies, procedures, and controls, with specific focus on intersections between privacy/AI and trade sanctions, export controls, and anti-corruption.
    • Develop unified governance approaches that combine privacy-by-design and responsible AI principles with sanctions screening and anti-corruption due diligence for high-risk tied parties and distributors.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives with regional and multi-country impact. Partnership functions will include Legal, Data Enablement, IT, Cybersecurity, HR, Security, Global Trade/Export Compliance, Procurement, and Sales teams.
  • Risk, Metrics & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting to monitor program effectiveness and emerging risks, across privacy, AI governance, sanctions compliance, and distributor risks.
    • Present risks, trends, and recommendations to senior leaders and the executive-level Chemours Compliance Committee.
  • Technology Enablement & Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and adopt new tools and technologies that enhance privacy, AI governance, and compliance program effectiveness.


The following is required for this role:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Privacy Professional licensure (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent).
  • Significant experience building, operating, and improving compliance or risk programs.
  • Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, or advanced data/technology risk, including fluency in new and emerging technology
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, exercise judgment in ambiguous situations, and influence without authority.

Pay Range (in local currency):
$126,067.00 - $196,980.00

Annual Bonus Target:
14%
