Job Summary

Join our team of high performers in Danbury, CT team as a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer! We are looking for a talented professional to create complex electronic designs for the Navy and commercial use using CAD or manual systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design PCB products utilizing Cadence design software; equivalent tool experience will be considered with the expectation to be productive with the Allegro toolset
  • Create electrical schematic diagram of PCB using Allegro Design Entry CIS (OrCAD), a familiarity of Concept HDL Software is a plus for legacy designs.
  • Create PCB layouts using Allegro PCB Editor for analog, digital, power and hi-speed designs
  • Designer must work well Independently and in collaboration with Electrical, Mechanical and Design Engineering
  • Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, specifications; and documentation per ASME standards
  • Process Engineering Change Orders
  • Ensure adherence to design standard and designated quality parameters
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures
  • Provide assistance to lesser experienced drafters by communicating work priorities, providing technical assistance, verifying accuracy of work
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or its equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Printed Circuit design
  • Cadence Allegro PCB experience
  • Knowledge of commonly-used design concepts, practices, and procedures
  • IPC standards, ASME Y14.100, ASME 14.5M, MIL-STD-100

U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
