DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a
Principal Test Engineer / Senior Principal Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in (
Huntsville, AL) and will support SW Integration & Test activities supporting the Cannon-Based Air Defense (CBAD) program. "CBAD integrates sensors, , and effectors leveraging battle-proven cannons and a suite of advanced ammunition, ready to defend against subsonic cruise missiles and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) from conflict start to finish."
Basic Qualifications:
- Principal: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
- Sr. Principal: 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
- Hardware Utilization Matrix (HUM) Management
- Test Site Coordination
- Experience developing, maintaining, and executing Integrated Test and Evaluation Plan (ITEP)
- Experience with requirements verification
- OS, Linux, PC setup/programming
- Willingness to travel to support customer engagements (25%-50%)
- Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Handling Weapons and Explosives
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software issues in the field
- Familiarity with Counter UAS systems and operations
- Experience with Systems of Systems integration
- Basic network understanding, IP addressing, manage switches
Primary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
