Start a new career as a Principal Technology Advisor - BEAM with United Methodist Communities!What You'll Do: Client Relationship and Engagement Delivery
- Serve as the primary technology advisor for assigned clients, building trusted relationships with leadership, staff, boards, and strategic partners while gaining a deep understanding of their goals, operations, and technology needs
- Lead ongoing client engagement through regular meetings, communication, action item follow-up, and accountable relationship management while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and vendor-neutral consulting practices
Strategic Technology Consulting
- Evaluate technology environments to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities through stakeholder engagement, workflow, infrastructure, and cybersecurity assessments
- Develop strategic technology recommendations and roadmaps covering governance, budgeting, staffing, cybersecurity, cloud services, AI, automation, and long-term organizational goals
Project and Vendor Leadership
- Provide strategic oversight of technology projects, coordinating efforts among client leadership, vendors, service providers, and implementation partners from planning through execution
- Support vendor selection, contracts, and technology decisions while monitoring project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder accountability
Executive Communication and Business Advisory
- Develop and present executive-level technology strategies, reports, budgets, and recommendations, translating complex technical concepts into clear business insights for leaders, boards, and stakeholders
- Facilitate strategic discussions and decision-making by communicating technology risks, opportunities, priorities, and investments while representing BEAM Advisors with professionalism in client and board meetings
Practice Management and Business Growth
- Manage multiple client engagements by balancing priorities, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and client expectations to ensure successful outcomes
- Strengthen client partnerships and support business growth through value-added advisory services, new business development, consulting best practices, and ongoing professional development
What You'll Need:
Required- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, healthcare administration, management, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in technology leadership, consulting, program or project management, IT operations, cybersecurity, digital transformation, or a related field
- Ability to maintain any license, credential, or authorization required for assigned travel or client-site access
Preferred- Master's degree in business, information systems, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, or a related field
- Experience as a CIO, IT director, senior technology advisor, management consultant, or program leader; experience managing a portfolio of clients or business units; and experience in senior living, aging services, healthcare, nonprofit, or another regulated and operationally complex environment
- PMP, ITIL, CISM, CISSP, CHCIO, Prosci, Microsoft, or a comparable technology, security, project management, or change management certification
