  • Update and manage documentation in Confluence.
  • Create presentation decks for both internal and Government stakeholders.
  • Review, edit, and revise technical documents from engineering teams.
  • Conduct quality reviews of program materials and serve as Knowledge Management Specialist for all local task orders.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: Yes CLEARANCE TYPE: Top Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Technical Editor and Writer based out of Tampa, FL. Please Note: · Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. What You’ll get to Do Responsibilities • Prepare monthly Task Status Reports (MTSR) for the Government customer across multiple task orders • Prepare Service Measures Reports for the Government customer, leveraging tools such as JIRA and SolarWinds • Prepare and maintain monthly automated vROps (VMware vRealize Operations) data and reports • Update documents within the production system; Confluence experience required • Develop presentation slide decks as needed for both Northrop Grumman management and the Government customer • Review, edit, and revise documents provided by engineers • Conduct quality reviews of technical and program materials • Perform the role of Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist for all task orders in Tampa • Manage and organize content within Confluence on the production system • Manage content maintained on SharePoint for local management • Assist the Task Order Manager and Site Leads with developing new knowledge management processes; support diagnosis of current issues; and redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to ensure effectiveness Basic Qualifications • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of experience is required. Note: Years of experience must pertain directly to writing and editing technical documents. • US Citizenship • Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance to be considered. TS/SCI clearance must be in place by the start date and must stay in place through employment. • Must hold a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or higher) certification (e.g., Security+ CE). • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD technical data practices (e.g., TO 00-5-1, MIL-STD-38784, MIL-STD-3048, MIL-STD-1808) and the ability to independently perform complex professional tasks. • Experience collaborating with engineers to obtain clarification and ensure compliance, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Experience using Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence) or similar work management and collaboration platforms to track tasks, manage documentation, and support team workflows Preferred Qualifications • Demonstrated experience collaborating within small, cross-organizational teams • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments • Experience supporting DoD customers What We Can Offer You Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
