What You Will Do
  • Support or lead development of test & integration plans and procedures and generation of test flow diagrams
  • Support or lead onsite integration, verification, and validation tasks and activities
  • Support setup of onsite test environments, laboratory facilities, and equipment
  • Support system trade studies, requirements analysis, architecture, and allocation to subsystems
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Manage problems and issues requiring detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation
  • Oversee the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert within discipline with advanced to expert knowledge of work area
  • Work autonomously with minimal oversight from manager
  • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals
  • Contribute to the development of department goals and planning efforts (e.g., cost and schedule)
  • Influence decision-makers with recommended courses of action
  • Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures
  • Manage moderately sized projects or processes
  • Manage the entrance and exit criteria of program design reviews
  • Review moderate and document major changes in systems or processes to solve difficult and often complex problems

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Experience in developing and writing test and integration plans and documents
  • Participation in medium-scale test and integration activities
  • Experience in supporting or leading a team in requirements development and system architecture
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DNG)
  • Knowledge of modeling/simulation tools (e.g., Matlab)
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering support for Software, Hardware, and Firmware development and collaboration
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance is required to work in our organization
  • Active and transferable SECRET clearance is required prior to start date

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Familiarity with production and manufacturing
  • Familiarity with qualification processes and certification procedures
  • Knowledge of or application of Earned Value Management System
  • Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (e.g., SysML, Cameo, Rhapsody)
  • Proficiency in tooling to include Microsoft products or tasking boards (e.g., Jira)
  • Knowledge of RF design tools (e.g., SystemVue)
  • Agile working environment experience
  • Proposal support experience including writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
  • Experience in Communication Radio and Systems including SATCOM, LOS/BLOS antennas, and waveforms
  • Experience with Active Electronic Scanning Array (AESA) systems

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
