We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer, supporting one of our premier programs within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.

What You Will Do
• Work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers supporting mission-critical ground systems solutions
• Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
• Develop and execute automated test scripts within a CI/CD pipeline environment
• Troubleshoot and debug software and system-level issues to support successful integration and deployment
• Support verification and validation activities across multiple software releases
• Collaborate effectively within a cross-company, cross-contract Agile program environment
• Support customer demonstrations, integration events, and program milestones as required

Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with systems integration and test for software products in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
• Experience with hands-on integration and test engineering activities
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging software-based systems or products
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer
• Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, or Perl
• Experience with test automation and reporting tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, Zephyr, and Splunk
• Experience working within a CI/CD environment
• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
• Experience supporting mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms, or similar programs
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
• Experience working with Open API standards
• Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux operating systems, and cloud environments
• Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
