Raytheon's Advanced Airborne Radio Frequency department has an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Engineer who is committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective EW solutions to support the Electronic Warfare business area relating to Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) capability development.
What You Will Do- Support firmware development and integration for Electronic Systems (ES) and Electronic Assemblies (EA) performance
- Lead government EW performance testing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all firmware development and debugging activities for Electronic Assemblies (EA)
- Determine what the requirements should be for a product or system based on information from the customer and provide traceability for these requirements
- Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
Qualifications You Must Have - Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of EW/Radar systems design and requirements engineering experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years
- Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and data for reports and presentations
- Modeling and Simulation, agile DevSecOps delivery pipelines, software development principals, Digital Thread concepts and realization in the development lifecycle.
- Matlab/Simulink, DOORS, DNG, Cameo, Jira, and Confluence.
- Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
