About the role:As a Principal SRO Engineer you will work on the new generation of reactors like the AP300 SMR and eVinci microreactor, the new fleet of AP1000® and the operating fleet from all over the world. Building your skills based on actual operating plant experience combined with advanced plant design will be a major accelerator for your career in the nuclear industry.
You will report to the Nuclear Operations Supervisor and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at our office
Key Responsibilities:- Our operations team collaborates with plant designers and system engineers to define the best and safest way to operate nuclear plants.•
- You will use your knowledge about integrated plant operations to update the way control room operators run plants with operating procedures.•
- You will then validate multiple scenarios in control room simulators, before they are implemented in plants worldwide.•
- Your scope will include the operating fleet (worldwide) and the next generation of nuclear plants (AP1000s, SMRs and microreactors), giving you learning and development opportunities in both worlds
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of applicable experience
- Reactor Operator License - Nuclear Regulatory Commission
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
