Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Principal or Sr. Principal Program Control Analyst to join its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support Advanced Programs in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications listed below.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Setup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedules
  • Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
  • Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work
  • Incorporating contracts changes into control systems
  • Estimate and completion and forecast related activities
  • Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required

Basic Qualifications

This position may be filled at a Principal level or Sr. Principal level

  • Requires US Citizenship with an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a master's degree; or 9 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) in lieu of a degree (Sr. Principal level requires 8 years with a bachelor's; 6 years with a master's; or 12 years with a high school diploma)
  • Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Requires experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence & Analytics tool
  • Requires experience with Project Management & Planning tool and/or Collaboration & Integration tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
  • Working knowledge of S4 and excel skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Experience supporting contracts with EVMS requirements

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
