RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: No CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineering Planning Analyst at our Rolling Meadows, IL location.  The selected candidate will report to the SEIT Department in the Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) Department.  This individual will be the point-of-contact collaborating with SEIT program teams, the Program Management Office, Field Service Engineers, Configuration Management, Data Management, Quality Management Engineering teams, and customers.  Primary responsibilities include coordinating, generating, and releasing documents and software, generating and processing Revision Notices (RNs), and implementing related process improvements. The ideal candidate should be self-initiating; needing only general supervision for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy, to drive execution both personally and through others. This role will be on-site at our Rolling Meadows, IL Location. This position can be filled at the Principal Engineering Planning Analyst or Sr. Principal Engineering Planning Analyst level. Basic Qualifications for Principal Engineering Planning Analyst: 3 Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years; OR Masters degree with a minimum of 3 years; OR PhD at 1 years of related experience 3 Demonstrated communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate to multiple teams and business customers 3 Demonstrated experience with coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail within a fast-paced environment 3 Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving skills 6 must have the ability to recognize issues, re-direct and re-work as needed to drive resolutions to meet customer need dates 3 Candidate Must be a U.S. Citizen 3 Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance 6 Secret Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Engineering Planning Analyst: 3 Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 8 years; OR Masters degree with a minimum of 6 years; OR PhD at 4 years of related experience 3 Demonstrated communication skills, with ability to clearly and concisely communicate to multiple teams and business customers 3 Demonstrated experience with coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail within a fast-paced environment 3 Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving skills 6 must have the ability to recognize issues, re-direct and re-work as needed to drive resolutions to meet customer need dates 3 Candidate Must be a U.S. Citizen 3 Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance 6 Secret Preferred Qualifications: 3 Experience working with government contracts 3 Current active Secret Clearance 3 Experience with MS Access, SQL or other data base programs 3 Experience using Team Center (TcE/ PDM), ISE Primary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
