Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?

As a Principal Solution Architect within the Automation & Agentic Ops team, you will lead the technical strategy and solution development for WWT's most complex and strategic client opportunities. Partnering closely with Sales, Delivery, and executive client stakeholders, you will help organizations modernize IT operations through AI, automation, and agentic technologies.

Serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales pursuit lifecycle, you will lead executive client engagement, discovery, architect enterprise solutions, develop proposals, Levels of Effort (LOEs), and Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure opportunities are positioned for successful delivery. Leveraging deep technical expertise and strong business acumen, you will translate client challenges into scalable, outcome-driven solutions that accelerate modernization and drive measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Solution Strategy

  • Serve as the lead technical advisor for strategic Agentic Operations pursuits, partnering with executive client stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and AI transformation opportunities.
  • Lead executive discovery sessions and solution workshops to identify opportunities for AI, automation, and Agentic Operations.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable solution architectures, implementation of roadmaps, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Present solution strategies and technical recommendations to executive and technical audiences while building trusted client relationships.

Solution Development & Pursuit Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end technical solutioning process for complex Agentic Operations opportunities, ensuring alignment between client objectives, technical architecture, delivery approach, and business value.
  • Own the development of client proposals, Levels of Effort (LOEs), Statements of Work (SOWs), solution briefs, supporting pursuit documentation, and the backend solutioning processes that drive the end-to-end pursuit lifecycle from opportunity qualification through contract execution.
  • Partner with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Engineering to define project scope, implementation approaches, effort estimates, pricing, resource plans, delivery timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Guide opportunities from qualification through contract execution, ensuring technical quality, commercial viability, and a seamless transition into delivery.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor Solution Architects by providing technical guidance, sharing best practices, and supporting complex pursuits.
  • Lead technical reviews and provide architectural guidance across strategic opportunities.
  • Foster collaboration across Sales, Delivery, Engineering, and Practice teams to deliver consistent, high-quality client solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Agentic Operations, AI, automation, and enterprise modernization strategies.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to AI, Agentic Operations, and enterprise automation.
  • Evaluate new technologies and solution approaches that improve client outcomes and strengthen WWT's capabilities.
  • Maintain relevant technical certifications and continuously expand expertise across WWT's solution portfolio.
  • Share knowledge and thought leadership across the organization to elevate technical capability and solution quality.
