We are on the lookout for a Leader of PCA Skin Implementation R&D team which consists of 2 product development scientists and a case study leader. In this role you will be delivering innovation in skin care to the dermocosmetic market which includes professional products tailored to aestheticians and dermatologists for superior efficacy in key strategic pillars such as anti-aging, longevity, and regeneration. This role reports directly to the CP Skin Health R&D Leader located in the Piscataway, NJ Global Technology Center.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation of new professional products and technologies including skin care products such as serums, creams, sunscreens.
• Actively participate in and lead cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, insights, clinical, safety, regulatory to develop and validate new concepts and products and ensure flawless implementation and commercialization of these products.
• Manage a case study program to provide efficacy data, claim substantiation, and benefit support for new and existing products.
• Create and/or maintain all required documentation such as Project Timelines, SOP's, Registration documents, Tech Transfer checklists, NODs, Change Control documents, Technical Justifications, Formula Databases, and Claims support trackers
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of functional experience in developing and commercializing skin care products.
• Strong project planning, collaboration and people management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of quality and implementation standards associated with personal care products and their development.
• Experience in collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and negotiating with partners to achieve successful project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to effectively share knowledge through both written and oral presentations including communicating science to non-technical audiences.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing complexity and implications in product design.
• Agility and flexibility in experimentation and innovation: being open to changing objectives and new innovation processes.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
