Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Area Facilities Director, the Principal Safety Officer has general oversight management responsibilities which include planning, coordinating, implementing and managing all aspects of Safety and Emergency Management. Ensures that all EOC, Safety and Emergency Management programs consistently meet all government and regulatory agency standards. Develops and administers policies and procedures. Required Qualifications: • H.S. Diploma or GED • 3 years Progressive healthcare managerial experience. • Experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance. • Experience leading a hospital safety and emergency management program. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant field, from a recognized accredited 4-year college or university. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
