Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Recruiter to lead full lifecycle recruiting efforts across our growing organization. This role will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition team and will partner closely with business leaders to develop recruiting strategies, identify top talent, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. You will recruit for a variety of technical and professional positions supporting federal government customers, including roles in cybersecurity, data science and machine learning, software engineering, cloud and infrastructure, and IT operations. The ideal candidate is a self-directed recruiter with deep technical recruiting expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and provide consultative guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and recruiting best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, serving as a trusted talent advisor throughout the hiring process.
  • Source, identify, and engage high-quality technical talent using a variety of methods, including direct sourcing, networking, and referrals.
  • Recruit for a broad range of positions, including cybersecurity, cloud, software development, data science, systems administration/engineering, IT operations, help desk, and other technology-focused roles.
  • Screen and assess candidates for technical skills, experience, cultural fit, and alignment with business needs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews while ensuring a positive and efficient candidate experience.
  • Manage offer development and negotiations in partnership with hiring managers and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting metrics within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring skill sets.
  • Recommend improvements to recruiting processes, tools, and candidate engagement strategies to enhance hiring effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company hiring policies.

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience with full lifecycle recruiting for technology, cyber security, or data science positions.
  • At least 4 years of experience using sourcing tools to identify and engage job seekers.
  • At least 3 years of experience providing guidance to hiring managers on job description creation, salary data, and market intelligence.
  • At least 2 years of experience recruiting for federal government contractors to include recruiting for cleared positions


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in both agency and corporate settings
  • Experience recruiting for proposals and other capture efforts to include getting Letters of Intent (LOI's)/Letters of Commitment (LOC's)
