Job Description
Designs scalable test strategies for complex systems, defining coverage to address integration complexity and technical risks. Oversees test environment setup across teams, adapts validation plans, and enforces quality gates for release readiness. Leads root cause analysis for customer issues, manages defect resolution, and drives team-level quality improvements. Maintains and optimizes test infrastructure, advises on build vs. buy decisions, and develops reusable automation solutions integrated into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Prioritizesrisk-based regression to balance speed, risk, and automation coverage acrossproducts or services.
DefectTracking and Management:
- Takesownership of reproducing customer issues, performing root cause analysis, andverifying fixes.
- Managesdefects across features.
- Leadsregular reporting on test progress/defects, ensures root causes are addressedthrough fixes and engineering accountability.
- Independentlyconducts post-incident (post-mortem) reviews to identify root causes andrecommend preventative actions.
- Independentlydrafts findings and action plans for leadership review.
- Partnerswith others on troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis to uncoverrecurring quality issues and drive improvements.
Collaborationand Communication:
- Supportscross-functional quality initiatives by contributing to technical roadmap alignment,surfacing quality risks, and collaborating with partner teams to drive testalignment.
- Workswith product management and developers to align on areas for testing.
- Influencesthe design and prioritizes testing and tooling.
- Maintainsand optimizes test infrastructure, driving efficiency and scalability toimprove automation and test processes.

- Analyzesand updates processes that improve consistency and reduce friction inengineering workflows within a limited, clearly scoped area.
Automation:
- Drivesteam-level quality improvements by identifying process gaps and contributing tolocal transformation efforts.
- Developsscalable automation solutions that support test coverage and reuse within aproduct or team.
- Promotesautomation best practices by resolving complex issues and guiding peers on testmaintainability.
- Integratesautomation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines bycontributing to workflow enhancements and reliability improvements.
RiskAssessment:
- Leadsquality risk assessments during product development, ensuring proactive riskmitigation and testing strategies.
- Identifiessystematic impacts of test coverage on moderately complex features areas.
- Implementsand enforces software quality gates at key development stages by evaluatingtest coverage, static analysis results, and defect metrics to ensure releasereadiness.
- Leadsthe review and refinement of test plans across product areas, identifyinghigh-risk impact areas and working with Scrum teams to prioritize mitigationand validate coverage.
TestTooling:
- Maintainsand optimizes test infrastructure to drive improvements.
- Providesinput into "build versus buy" decisions to increase efficiency andscalability.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $91,100 to $187,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
