Role Definition

Manages projects or programs successfully to meet on-time, on-cost, and on-quality criteria. Thorough understanding of project/program management methodologies and tools. A contributor to the strategic direction of the project management organization.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities
• Plans, budgets, and secures staffing for the projects/programs they manage.
• Effectively completes projects/programs on-time, on-cost, and on-quality.
• Manages risks, issues, and compliance across programs and/or projects under their responsibility.
• Resolves conflicts and effectively escalates topics appropriately on projects or programs they manage.
• Clearly communicates tasks, roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basis.
• Promotes and develops best practices in project management.
• Works across organizational boundaries and functions to drive improvement and resolve escalated issues.
• Documents project and program Lessons Learned to foster continuous improvement.
• Provides training and consulting for other program/project managers when needed. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project teams.
• Acts as an independent reviewer for other project managers in the PMO organization.
• Supports different stages of the project management lifecycle, utilizing the tools and techniques to produce reports on performance, budgets, and schedules.

What your background should look like

Candidate Profile - Education, Experience, Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in appropriate field with 15+ years of experience; or master's degree with 12+ years of experience.
• Formal project or program management education. PMP certification preferred.
• Medical device experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in project, program, and resource management.
• Experience including evaluation of projects, programs, and business cases.
• Skilled in CAD software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
• Knowledge of business systems such as SAP.
• Ability to travel up to 25 to 40% if needed

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $161,200 - $241,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
