Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Principal Project Manager (Digital) - Shockwave Medical to join our team located in Santa Clara, CA.

Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we're developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Ready to join a team that's pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.

The Principal Project Manager (Digital) is responsible for digital system, resources, and project management activities associated with executing the company's goals for digital transformation. Responsible for gaining cross functional alignment on strategic vision and goals of projects, meeting project goals and ensuring that appropriate resources are identified, allocated, and executed according to the plan.

Essential Job Functions
  • Manage and coordinate all cross-functional activities within the project and consistent with company's process excellence, digital project management, and QMS standards, and IT system deployment best practices.
  • Highly skilled in project planning, risk management, project execution, digital literacy, Quality Management Systems, and communication to all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively drive multiple parallel projects with unique cross-functional team members and matrixed governance and organizational structure.
  • Oversee all phases of a digital transformation project from business problem statement definition to value realization measurement, with a proven ability to lead functional and technical workstreams.
  • Publish routine dashboards and reports that effectively communicate progress, risk and achievements of multiple projects.
  • Develop and deliver formal communications, including effective presentation skills.
  • Hands-on management and tracking of overall team progress and ability to provide detailed management status reports and updates.
  • Mentor other Project Managers in the group as needed.
  • Develop systematic and reusable materials and tools that improve digital project delivery and organizational change management.


Requirements

  • BS/BA in science, engineering or business administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 10+ years of digital project management experience and at least 5 years of project management experience in the medical device industry.
  • 5+ years leading medical device enterprise software with a strong grasp of Quality System Management industry requirements.
  • 5+ years managing enterprise system implementation teams and/or implementation vendors
  • Project Management specific training and/or certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience with developing, implementing, and monitoring process improvement initiatives, project management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Highly capable of performing under the pressure of multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative and constructive working relationship with others.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate organizational challenges, collaborate effectively, and achieve objectives through others.
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills.
  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation, and drive for results.
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks and collaborate within a team environment.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$125,000.00 - $201,250.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
