Job Description

Oracle's Social Impact team seeks a Principal Program Manager to drive philanthropic initiatives across strategic US markets, including communities where Oracle is developing and operating AI data centers.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized program manager who builds trusted relationships and translates strategy into execution. You are comfortable advancing philanthropic priorities, managing detailed project plans, communicating with varied stakeholders, and representing Oracle with nonprofit and community partners.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will:
  • Execute Oracle's philanthropic strategy across strategic US markets, including communities where Oracle is expanding its AI data center footprint.
  • Manage grantmaking within assigned markets, including nonprofit due diligence, proposal evaluation, funding recommendations, impact measurement, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with nonprofit organizations and educational institutions to support Oracle's philanthropic goals and identify high-impact partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including Community Relations, Government Affairs, Compliance & Ethics, and Corporate Communications.
  • Communicate effectively with nonprofit partners and internal stakeholders, providing clear expectations, timely updates, and thoughtful stewardship throughout the lifecycle of philanthropic projects.
  • Develop scalable processes, project trackers, documentation, and status reports to enable consistent execution of Oracle's philanthropic strategy across multiple markets.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to streamline reporting, improve process efficiency, and support program operations.
  • Prepare presentations, talking points, and executive briefing materials that communicate program status and articulate Oracle's philanthropic strategy and impact.
  • Ensure all philanthropic activities align with Oracle policies, governance standards, and compliance requirements.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6-10 years of experience in social impact, corporate social responsibility, corporate philanthropy, community investment, nonprofit leadership, public-private partnerships, community relations, or program management.
  • Strong program and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple high-visibility initiatives across socioeconomically varied and geographically dispersed communities.
  • Proven ability to build trust, influence without authority, and navigate sensitive stakeholder environments with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience using data and stakeholder insights to shape program strategy and measure outcomes.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may shift quickly.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the United States.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
