Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (level 3) to join its Business Management team in
Roy, UT OR
Huntsville, AL.

The selected person will:
Establish, configure, and maintain a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and associated cost-schedule control infrastructure.
Apply EVMS principles and performance-measurement-baseline concepts across multiple control accounts within the Integrated Product Team, ensuring accurate cost-schedule integration.
Develop, update, and sustain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and associated budgeting/scheduling data, incorporating contractual changes and baseline adjustments.
Produce and present internal and external variance-analysis reports, including budget-baseline, funding forecasts, cost-risk assessments, and ETC/EAC estimates for senior leadership and government stakeholders.
Prepare and submit government cost-performance reports, briefings, and performance-measurement analyses in accordance with DoD guidelines.
Operate SAP (or equivalent ERP) and Earned Value software (e.g., Deltek Cobra/MPM) to generate hands-on cost-performance data and support decision-making.
Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address cost and schedule uncertainties.
Design and implement moderate-to-complex process improvements and new reporting methods based on variance and trend analysis.
Interface regularly with program managers, functional managers, and Cost Account Managers to provide financial insight, support funding requests, and resolve cost-schedule issues.
Perform multiple high-visibility assignments under general supervision, meet critical schedule commitments, and proactively flag potential problems to senior management.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university with 5 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting and/or Aerospace and Defense Business-related experience, a Masters degree with 3 years of experience, a PhD and 1 year of experience. A HS Diploma (or equivalent) with 9yrs experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Deltek Cobra/MPM, or comparable ERP/Earned Value Management tools.
Proven ability to prepare and present briefings to senior-level internal and external customers and to produce high-quality analytical reports.
1+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
3 + years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience on complex DoD programs.
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman contracts processes and procedures.
Aerospace/defense industry experience, including work with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) CDRLs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
