Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience
• Advanced experience with CMM operation, calibration and maintenance
• Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, metrology standards, calibration methods, and measurement uncertainty
• Experience with optical measurement methods and on-machine gauging
• Proficiency with statistical analysis of measurement systems and root-cause/variance analysis
• Demonstrated project management skills and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy metrology and gauging solutions and provide technical support
• Perform calibration and evaluate measuring uncertainty of metrology equipment
• Contribute to technical strategy for bearing metrology deployment
• Lead/support capital projects managing specifications, installations, and project delivery
• Perform product/process rationalization and benchmarking for manufacturing decisions
• Manage departmental projects ensuring timely completion through effective planning
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on metrology/gauging
