Full Job Description
The Principal manages the contract and relationship with a key client as a critical part of the Prime Health Plan clients. This senior externally-facing position develops and owns the strategic growth and retention strategy. They are also responsible for customer satisfaction and achieving corporate strategic goals relative to their book of business. The Principal serves as the client expert and as a resource for others within the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Strategic Planning: Accountable for the coordination and development of complex client-specific strategic plan and ongoing monitoring of plan with adjustments made as necessary. Serve as account strategist for assigned account both internally and externally. Uses advanced experience to develop an understanding of products, benefits, and services to determine business solutions that meet client needs.

Manage Client Relationship: Serves as the face of Accredo with ongoing communication to the client to maintain and grow relationship, thereby ensuring client retention. Acts as lead in meeting client needs. Uses in-depth knowledge and expertise to manage and strengthen complex client relationships to ensure satisfaction levels are met.

Contract Performance Oversight: Maintains focus on aligning long-term business plans to client needs and contractual requirements. Leads the development and execution of comprehensive strategies that ensure delivery against intricate service commitments, performance guarantees, and operational KPIs. Demonstrates strong negotiation skills in navigating complex contract discussions, renewals, and evolving service requirements. Serves as a subject matter expert on the client's business, contract structure, and performance drivers to proactively identify risks, optimize outcomes, and sustain account stability.

Cross Functional Partnership: Accountable for activities of internal Account Management team and extended team members as related to client strategic objectives and escalated service issues. Foster relationships internally with Sr. Leadership, finance, operations, and other internal partners to meet client needs.

Business Insight: Demonstrates understanding and interpretation of current industry trends and information. Keeps up with current and possible future policies, practices, innovations, and trends in the organization, with the competition, and in the marketplace. Uses expert knowledge of business drivers to guide actions. Understands the business's economic model and the specific contract terms that drive client performance and financial outcomes

Leadership - Shares advanced best practices and industry standards with broader EPPSAM audience. Demonstrates understanding and interpretation of current industry trends and information. Assumes leadership role in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.

Enterprise Contributions & Strategic Initiatives: Supports special projects and evolving business needs, demonstrating flexibility and accountability in managing additional responsibilities as assigned. Drives organizational effectiveness by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve communication flow, and enhance team performance across functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years relevant experience or Master's degree with 4+ years relevant experience
  • Technically savvy - PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 145,400 - 242,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
