Full Job Description
In this role, you will own the AI productivity infrastructure for Ibotta's product organization - building and maintaining the systems, skills, context libraries, and environments that allow product managers to get dramatically more leverage from AI tooling. In addition, you'll be responsible for building the environment within which the team can increase its AI fluency and effectiveness.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of product management, AI tooling, and platform thinking. You are not building product features for customers - you are building the operating system that makes every PM on the team faster, sharper, and more consistent. You will accelerate delivery, improve decision quality, and systematically reduce low-value work across the product org.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

Not based in Denver? We will offer a relocation bonus to help make your move to the Mile High City a smooth one.

What you will be doing:
  • Guide the Product Team's & Company's strategy for AI adoption, scaling infrastructure and driving maximum leverage across the enterprise
  • Build, maintain, and expand the suite of AI-powered skills, plugins & MCP servers used by the product team and others around the company to scale product judgement and overall effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a structured "golden context library" of markdown files documenting how Ibotta's product team operates: org structure, initiative taxonomy, product lines, term glossary, company performance context, and decision-making norms - all optimized for AI consumption.
  • Own the base templates and structured input formats for PRDs, roadmaps, business cases, and product update posts - ensuring they are AI-optimized (well-structured, consistently formatted, context-rich) so any PM can produce high-quality artifacts with AI assistance.
  • Partner with Finance to define and maintain the baseline metrics, unit economics, and financial assumptions that anchor PM-authored business cases across all product lines. Document assumptions and update base units as company performance data evolves.
  • Ensure all PMs have correctly configured AI environments, appropriate access to key data sources (Databricks, Jira, Slack, Google Calendar, Drive), and working skill setups. Serve as the internal expert on AI toolchain configuration - diagnosing access issues, onboarding new PMs, and keeping the environment stack current.
  • Drive AI tool adoption across the product team through hands-on enablement, training sessions, and written documentation. Track usage patterns across the skill library and proactively identify gaps, underused tools, and opportunities for new workflows to improve a PM's overall effectiveness.
  • Partner with Engineering and IT to maintain appropriate data permissions and secure access patterns. Ensure PMs are accessing data for opportunity and launch evaluations appropriately.
  • Embrace and uphold Ibotta's Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency, & A good idea can come from anywhere.

What we are looking for:
  • 8+ years in product management, product operations, or a comparable role with significant experience building internal tools, workflows, or platforms that serve other product teams.
  • BA/BS in business, technology, or a related field required.
  • Deep, hands-on AI fluency - not just awareness. You should be an active, daily user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) and have experience building AI-powered workflows, automations, or integrations.
  • Experience building and maintaining structured knowledge systems, documentation frameworks, or operational infrastructure for product teams.
  • Expert systems thinking - you see the connections between templates, context, data access, and skill design, and you can architect an integrated system, not just a collection of tools.
  • Technically fluent: comfortable with markdown, APIs, dashboards, Jira administration, and light scripting. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to build things.
  • Exceptional communicator who can translate AI capabilities into practical PM workflows and drive adoption through influence, not authority.
  • Self-directed and ownership-oriented - this role has no direct reports but operates with senior-level influence across the entire product organization and key cross-functional partners (Engineering, Finance, Data Science, Operations).
  • Measured by outcomes like PM time saved per week, skill library coverage and usage, business case consistency, initiative tracking accuracy, and team AI adoption rates.

Experience in the following areas a strong plus:
  • Building or managing MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations, Claude Cowork skills, or similar AI agent frameworks.
  • Performance marketing, adtech, or retail media product environments.
  • Product operations or enablement roles where you built reusable infrastructure for other PMs.
  • Prototyping with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Figma Make).

Additional Details:
  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks and occasional meals.
  • Base compensation range: $200,000 - $220,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Applicants are accepted until the position is filled.
  • For the security of our employees and the business, all employees are responsible for the secure handling of data in accordance with our security policies, identifying and reporting phishing attempts, as well as reporting security incidents to the proper channels.
