Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Principal Platform Consultant - AI Platforms to shape the future of AI across the enterprise.
This is a top-tier technical leadership role focused on defining how AI platforms and agent-based systems are designed, governed, and scaled. You will influence enterprise strategy, guide platform architecture, and partner across engineering, data, security, and business teams to deliver production-ready AI platform capabilities.
What You'll DoDefine AI Platform Strategy- Shape the enterprise design and strategy for AI platforms, generative AI, and agent-based systems
- Establish scalable patterns for model access, orchestration, and AI-enabled workflows
Design Enterprise-Grade AI Systems- Create reference architectures and reusable platforms for AI and agentic applications
- Enable capabilities such as retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, and multi-agent workflows
- Ensure systems are observable, resilient, and cost-efficient
Drive Responsible AI Adoption- Define and implement standards for governance, security, and responsible AI usage
- Establish guardrails for model selection, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Ensure strong identity, access control, and auditability for AI and agent interactions
Accelerate Delivery Through Platform Engineering- Build reusable platform capabilities that reduce duplication and improve developer experience
- Integrate AI into software delivery, developer tooling, and operational workflows
Influence at Enterprise Scale- Partner with senior leaders across engineering, product, data, and cybersecurity
- Translate emerging AI technologies into actionable platforms and roadmaps
- Provide executive-level technical guidance and decision frameworks
Lead and Mentor- Act as a trusted advisor to senior engineers, platform consultants and architects
- Drive engineering excellence and elevate AI capabilities across the organization
What You BringTechnical Expertise- Deep experience with AI/ML platforms, generative AI, and large language models (LLMs)
- Experience designing agent-based systems, orchestration frameworks, or AI-enabled workflows
- Strong background in cloud-native architecture (multi-cloud) and distributed systems
- Knowledge of APIs, data platforms, vector databases, and retrieval-based systems
- Familiarity with identity, security, and governance patterns for enterprise systems
- Experience with observability, resiliency, and production-scale platform engineering
Leadership & Impact- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or architecture
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-organizational initiatives
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-aligned strategies and outcomes
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across teams
- Passion for mentoring engineers and shaping engineering culture

CompensationCompensation offered for this role is 211,000.00 - 290,500.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
