Job Description

Principal Patient Safety Officer at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under the general supervision of the South Bay Director of Risk and Regulatory, the South Bay Community Patient Safety Program Manager designs, implements, manages and evaluates the South Bay Community patient safety program. The program manager may be primarily located at one of the acute ministries within the South Bay (San Pedro or Torrance) but will be expected to work throughout the continuum of the South Bay Community.

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
  • 5 years Acute care hospital.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field.
  • Upon hire: Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS)
  • 2 years Patient safety experience.
