Job Summary
This critical role is responsible for overseeing the benefit valuation framework, managing the governance model, ensuring accurate opportunity tracking, and developing executive level materials that provide progress and value to the company. This individual will ensure ideas across the company are thoroughly evaluated, progress is tracked, and decision-making processes align with the company's goals. This role will need to have advanced analytical/ Finance understanding, cross-organization influence, executive level presentations, and excellent communication skills, enabling them to work collaboratively across Bread Financial and with executives.Essential Job Functions
Lead financial valuation of submitted ideas, quantifying hard and soft benefits. Maintain and update the executive scorecard to track initiative progress and value. Analyze trends and metrics to identify risks and opportunities. Constructively challenge leaders and valuations when necessary. - (30%)
Develop and deliver high-impact presentations for XLT, SLT, and Board of Directors. Translate complex data into insights and compelling strategic narratives. Collaborate with senior leaders to align messaging and storytelling. Create visuals that clearly communicate financial and strategic information. - (25%)
Establish and manage the governance framework for the Operational Excellence lifecycle. Drive ideas through the pipeline efficiently, collaborating with Finance, Business Units, and OpEx. Oversee review checkpoints, approvals, and compliance, while providing executive leadership with key insights, metrics, and recommendations - (20%)
Lead planning sessions and support development of annual OpEx goals and budget. Track department goals and manage monthly budget planning and capital funding. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Provide thought leadership and act as a strategic advisor to business partners. - (10%)
Design, refine, and scale frameworks for value realization, governance, and reporting. Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and strategic alignment across the organization. - (10%)
Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and adoption of governance and valuation practices. Act as a trusted advisor, influencing decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. - (5%)
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
12+ years of relevant experience in finance, business analysis, marketing, continuous improvement, governance, Operational Excellence, process improvement, or another related field
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, Project Management or related field of study.
14+ years of relevant experience in finance, business analysis, marketing, continuous improvement, governance, Operational Excellence, process improvement, or another related field

Work Environment
Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):
$133,500.00 - $241,900.00Full Salary Range for position:
California: $153,500.00 - $302,400.00Colorado: $133,500.00 - $254,000.00New York: $146,800.00 - $302,400.00Washington: $140,100.00 - $278,200.00Maryland: $140,100.00 - $266,100.00Washington DC: $153,500.00 - $278,200.00Illinois: $133,500.00 - $266,100.00New Jersey: $153,500.00 - $278,200.00Vermont: $133,500.00 - $241,900.00Ohio: $133,500.00 - $241,900.00Maine: $133,500.00 - $241,900.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future from any employer or organization. The Company cannot offer employment to F-1 (student) visa holders.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
