DescriptionNorthrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a
Principal Mission Assurance Engineer. This position is located in
Clearfield, Utah, Cheyenne, WY or Great Falls, MT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
This Mission Assurance engineer will be responsible for the coordination and delegation of inspection authority in the field, auditing of various processes (both in the field and remotely), reviewing and approving test plans and engineering changes, witnessing various testing and/or integration activities, and coordination of nonconformance resolution and corrective action investigations. This position is in support of the RVA CLS contract on the ICBM-Sustainment program within the SDS division.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree AND 5 years of related experience, OR Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience.
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with investigation date within 6 years
Basic knowledge of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques.
Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills
Familiarity with AS9100
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills
Understanding of networking tools and protocols
AS9100 lead auditor certification
Primary Level Salary Range: $93,300.00 - $147,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
