Full Job Description
The Principal Mechanical Design Engineer will have the capacity to work independently and be capable of supervising and managing several design / drafting teams concurrently.

The tasks you'll perform
  • Maintain the quality of output of the multi-discipline engineering / drafting teams under their control, including alignment with the needs of the client, company and regulatory requirements. In particular, ensure process design requirements are translated and implemented as practical engineering designs.
  • Maintain and enhance the technical competence and reputation of the mechanical engineering / drafting section to consistently meet the technical requirements of projects and studies.

The expertise you'll bring
  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • PEng status in Ontario, Canada.
  • More than 15 years' experience in mineral processing and related industries.

The expected salary range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000. This range is based on the role's job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting. Your final offer will depend on factors such as market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
