DescriptionPosition Summary: The Principal IC Design Engineer will architect innovative circuits to solve electronic system challenges. This role will lead IC development projects, including directing and mentoring other designers, defining schedules and resources, and partitioning design work. The candidate should be able to quickly analyze product proposals and identify critical and challenging design requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop product specifications and convert them into design specifications.
- Perform transistor-level circuit design.
- Develop test benches and run simulations. Conduct top-level mixed-mode simulations.
- Contribute to customer-facing technical discussions for new business development.
- Serve as the technical lead for a small mixed-signal design team.
- Support production test development.
- Support ASIC qualification, including hardware and software development, and interface with end customers.
- Understand and implement circuits for implantable medical ASICs.
Must Have:- Bachelors Degree (STEM)
- 10 years experience in ASIC design.
- Experience in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design and leadership.
- Experience guiding semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and testing.
- Ability to develop project schedules, allocate resources, and partition work for new projects.
Good to have:- Experience in medical device or regulated environments (e.g., FDA, ISO standards).
Salary Range: 145,000-185,000
