CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a
Principal HVAC and Plumbing Engineer to join our
Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Energy & Manufacturing Team at our
Fort Washington, PA office.

The Principal HVAC and Plumbing Engineer has considerable engineering knowledge in their respective field and may provide leadership for their work group based on their extensive experience. The individual in this role is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous projects. The Principal HVAC and Plumbing Engineer oversees all phases of a technical project from conception and design to completion, while providing engineering guidance to other departments and training new engineering staff.

What You Bring:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 15 years' progressive engineering experience required
- Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practices
- Proficiency with MS Office software required
- Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineering
- Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Completely familiar with and advocates for the company's standards for quality control and compliance
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas
- An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
- Proven ability to lead a team
Salary Range:$140,000 - $150,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
