Organizational Effectiveness & Change Agent

- Design, recommend, and implement effective organization structures to ensure the structure aligns with its business strategy and strengthens culture.

- Evaluate organizational changes and create mechanisms for ongoing inspection and adjustment to evaluate if the changes have the intended business impact.

- Partner with business leaders to design and implement strategic workforce plans for an AI-enabled organization

- Support experimentation in people systems that push the limits of what's possible, using data to evaluate effectiveness

Leadership Development & Talent Planning

- Coach senior leaders to maximize leadership effectiveness, with specific focus on building product vision, cross-team collaboration, and breaking down organizational silos

- Serve as a trusted advisor to see around corners, recommend solutions to business and people risks, and bring objective ideas and org design options.

- Develop a strategy to build the required senior leader skills and establish a diverse pipeline through hiring, build vs. buy, internal development and succession planning, and talent movement.

- Assess both long term and immediate senior leader talent needs and skills in order to achieve long-term business goals.

A day in the life

What We Need in This Partnership

The businesses you will support are technically complex and operationally diverse. The ideal candidate for this business must:

- Learn deeply and quickly: Absorb a complex business and develop credible business and technical acumen

- Influence with data: Use workforce analytics and org health diagnostics to drive evidence-based talent decisions

- Drive with courage: Challenge the status quo on org design, performance management, and talent placement; this work requires courage and a willingness to have difficult conversations

- Think systemically: Understand how talent decisions in one part of the system (e.g., promotion logic, career paths, rewards) connect to and influence outcomes elsewhere

- Move at pace: Match the speed of the business; AAIS cannot afford slow HR cycles in a year defined by AI transformation

- Coach with impact: Develop leaders who can build culture, drive open communication, cultivate product vision, and work backwards from customer needs
