Your Impact- Lead complex geotechnical investigations, advanced analyses, design reviews, and construction-phase services.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams through full project life cycles with clear technical direction.
- Evaluate intricate soil and rock conditions using advanced modelling to deliver robust, defensible recommendations.
- Shape methodologies, standards, and innovation within WSP's northern geotechnical practice.
- Mentor and develop staff across levels, fostering strong capability and succession growth.
- Engage authentically with clients, strengthening WSP's trusted presence in Northern BC and the Yukon.
- Collaborate with regional and national leaders to support strategic planning and business development.
The Skills That Set You Apart- A degree in Civil or Geological Engineering, plus registration as a P.Eng. in Canada (or eligibility with Engineers Yukon).
- 15+ years of progressive geotechnical consulting experience, including northern, transportation, infrastructure, municipal, or resource-sector projects.
- Recognized expertise in advanced geotechnical analysis, subsurface evaluation, and construction considerations.
- Ability to influence technical direction, guide teams, and support strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency with geotechnical platforms such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, or equivalent tools.
- Initiative, creativity, and a solutions-oriented mindset aligned with WSP's culture of innovation.
Compensation- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 - $195,400
- MB & ON: $134,600 - $184,600
- NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $133,200 - $176,900
